Registering to use GENISIS couldn't be easier. Simply call Jamie Halliday on 01603 761515 (Mon - Fri, 9am-5pm) and they will register you on your behalf. Alternatively, if your firm is already registered, GENISIS offers the opportunity (via a ‘firm administration area’) to register new users and change information about your firm and its registered users. If your firm has a number of people who want to use GENISIS, you may wish to take advantage of this facility.
The first person from your firm that we registered will automatically have access to the ‘firm administration area’ as soon as they log in. From here they can:
- register new users on their behalf
- nominate additional firm administrators
- add new office locations
- manage the registration process
If the firm administrator function is more appropriate to someone else at your office, you can reallocate this role as soon as that person has registered.
To use GENISIS, you must be a genealogist working for a firm of genealogists who are authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) to undertake insurance mediation.
Yes, once you’ve registered, you simply need to answer a few key questions and GENISIS will instantly generate a quote. This process will only take a couple of minutes. Even if GENISIS is unable to provide a quote based on the information provided, we can still help you. The details are automatically referred to one of our specialist underwriters who will contact you within 15 minutes (Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm) to discuss your enquiry further.
Yes, as you would expect from an online service, GENISIS is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Yes, a list of all your quotes and any policies you have ordered can be accessed by clicking ‘View my quotes’ in My GENISIS. There is also a ‘search’ facility which allows you to search for quotes using specific criteria.
